Pretty Cool Plane Tour
The Avro Vulcan is a jet-powered, tailless, delta-wing, strategic bomber that was used by the Royal Air Force from 156 until 1984. Designed after WWII, it became the world’s first delta-winged jet bomber. The plane first saw combat during Operation Corporate during the Falkland War.
The video features a guided tour of the Avro Vulcan XH558. It walks viewers through the plane’s exterior, the lower crew positions, and the cockpit. It also includes an engine run and the howl at full throttle. In fact, you can hear its howl from the inside as well.
Despite the plane’s complexities, it’s definitely one of the most beautiful planes ever built. We had no idea it was such as giant of an aircraft- totally blew us away!
