Intense WWII Movie Scene
This is a clip taken from the 2006 movie, Letters From Iwo Jima, which is a Japanese-language American film that was co-produced by Clint Eastwood. It follows the stories of Japanese troops that fought and died there during World War II.
This particular scene shows an attack from the Japanese base by the legendary F4-U Corsair. They say that once you hear the Whistle of Death, which is the nickname for the Corsair, there is no escape.
At the 0:37 mark, we even get to see a soldier running from the Corsair’s gunfire!
