Massive Military Plane Flies Between Buildings

Imagine clocking into work one day and you see this from your office’s windows!

This massive C-17 was part of an annual Australian local festival called Riverfire. The plane was flying along the river that snakes through the city – with several hundred meters of clearance between buildings to the sides.

It’s not as “bad” as it looks, though. If you want to watch the pilot’s POV, then look no further. Check this video out below!

Still, it’s not like it doesn’t carry risks! If the C-17 crew’s timing is off, there’s a huge chance that it would collide with a building.

There’s a reason why C-17 pilots must fly a thousand feet above structures in populated areas!

C-17s aren’t the only planes doing this during Riverfire. The likes of the Hornets and Growlers have also been featured in the past. They even used F-111 Aardvark several times to perform a dump-and-burn!
