Signed Sealed Delivered.

The latest and greatest vessel of the United States Navy the Gerald Ford-class Supercarrier has been enjoying its time in the spotlight. The first of 13 planned supercarriers became the largest vessel ever built for Naval service. There were doubts about the construction of such an immense ship but it was just announced that the USS Gerald Ford successfully completed sea trials and is ready to join the US Navy.

Sea trials of the supercarrier exceeded expectations and the USS Gerald Ford will be commissioned this summer. It has room for more aircraft than any other naval vessel built and its innovative Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System ensures they can spring into action faster than ever before.

“Without a doubt, we would not be here without the hard work and dedication of those from the program office, our engineering teams and those who performed and oversaw construction of this incredible warship. It is because of them that Ford performed so well during acceptance trials, as noted by the Navy’s Board of Inspection and Survey.”
