We Don’t Have The Time To Do This, But We’re Glad Someone Else Does.

These Youtube guys are really skilled at making Rcs as well as cool looking videos. Featuring a 13 foot USS Kitty Hawk and accompanied by a T-28 Trojan, these folks put together something extremely neat.

The model carrier actually features a working catapult which also emits steam, adding a serious level of authenticity. As you’ll be able to see, it took a couple of failed attempts but the T-28 finally took off and got to admit, it was pretty cool.

The USS Kitty Hawk was commissioned in 1961 and decommissioned in 2009, all the while bearing the nickname “Shitty Kitty.”

The model supercarrier this guy built is USS Kitty Hawk which was the second longest active warship in the United States behind USS Constitution. It was replaced by the USS George Washington.

The T-28 Trojan used in the video is a plane that was introduced in 1949. It’s a trainer that was used by both the Army and Navy. It was powered by a Wright R-1820 radial engine giving it a top speed of 343. Many examples still exist today in private hands.
