Tora! Tora! Tora! : A surprise attack on Pearl Harbor begins

Absolutely a Masterpiece

If you’re into epic war films, then Tora! Tora! Tora! is a classic movie that retells the attack of Pearl Harbor in 1941 and the events that led up to it. Tora is a Japanese signal to attack. Interestingly, the film featured both American and Japanese perspectives. 

As you can see, the attack was carefully planned- the Japs rehearsed this moment diligently for months, they had armor-piercing bombs and torpedoes to back it up. From the other side, the movie also depicts how quickly the Americans responded, within just a couple of minutes, guns were being fired both from the ship and the shore. 

No doubt, this has got to be one of the best military films we’ve ever seen. No computer graphics, real special effects, definitely awesome!
