In this video, we get to see sixteen Spitfires flying in formation – and the sounds they produced are nothing short of amazing.

The dive at the 3:12 mark is probably the best part of the video, though. That Spitfire pilot fully committed to that dive and gave us such an awesome show!

There’s no doubt that the Spitfire was an absolute work of art. It was a single-seat fighter aircraft of the Royal Air Force that served the Allied countries before, during, and after World War II.

Not only did it become the primary front-line fighter in WWII, but it was also used for short-range, quick attacks and was powered by the famous Rolls Royce Merlin or Griffon engines.
