Mirage 2000 Blows Over Spectators At RIAT 2018

We all know how dangerous a fighter jet’s jet blast can be, so it’s safe to say that nobody should be behind it at all times. However, these spectators at the RIAT Air Show in 2018 probably didn’t get the memo.

Several Mirage 2000s were on the tarmac that day, preparing for takeoff. The last one on the line, which was also the closest to the crowd, throttled its engine to their surprise.

Its jet blast was so strong it blew over spectators and their belongings for a few feet. Just take a look at how far those things traveled!

Luckily for them, they’ll only be dealing with damaged equipment and not faces. Be careful when you’re attending air shows as this might just happen to you!
