The F-4 is an iconic model judging from its colorful history and was produced for over 20 years until the last US F-4 drone was retired in 2016.

Taken at the Jet Power 2019 event in Genderkingen/Donauwörth, Germany, this twin turbine-powered plane offers enhanced simulation and flight performance. For its construction, it used traditional balsa, plywood, and lite-ply. It also features metal shock absorbers and retractable landing gears for great crash resistance.

The model has a scale of 1/6, a length of 2.5 meters, and a wing span of 1.5 meters. Its take-off weight is 20 kg. Another fascinating thing about it is the unmistakable sound of a turbine- it’s powered by two turbine JetCat P-130 turbine engines.
