Block II Super Hornet Takes Off

Block II Super Hornet Takes Off | World War Wings Videos

What an Epic Take Off

The Super Hornet is a twin-engine, carrier-capable, and multi-role fighter aircraft. It is about 3,180kg heavier, with a 50% bigger range than the relatively smaller, and classic Hornet that was initially ordered by the US Navy to replace the Grumman F-14 Tomcat after it was retired from service.

Unlike Block 1 Super Hornets that began production in 1997, the Block II variant comes with an Active Electronically Scanned Array radar, bigger cockpit displays, upgraded avionics, sensors, and enhanced range.

The video shows us an epic take-off from this cutting-edge Block II Super Hornet from an aircraft carrier. We love how it effortlessly flew in the air with so much power. This plane is definitely built for air superiority for decades to come.

Really incredible seeing it fly! Check it out.
