What A Sound!
This F-104 Starfighter once served the Royal Norwegian Air Force from 1973 to 1983. In 2003, the Starfighter underwent restoration that took a total of 13 years to be completed.
It took until September 2016 for the fighter to take its maiden flight again in Norway!

Nowadays, we get to see this Starfighter in several air shows in Europe. The howl of its J-79 engine can be heard from far away – a sound any military aviation fan can easily recognize.

Royal Norwegian Air Force Pilot Eskil Amdal, who piloted this aircraft in its maiden flight, had this to say.
โThe burner hesitates for a fraction of a second, then it lights fully and God, it REALLY kicks in!โ

Itโs hard to stop this jet when it gets going! Take a look at how easily it took off by watching the video below!
