If there’s one thing that bugs military aviation fans worldwide, it has to be the aircraft’s gun sounds. In movies, Hollywood tends to gravitate towards “electronic whirring sounds” that just feels generic.
After all, some of these “gun sounds” have been heard in a lot of movies for a while now. Because of this, a YouTuber by the name of quartz708 took it upon himself to edit a clip of the Top Gun: Maverick movie with better and accurate gun sounds.
As you would have expected, this was gladly welcomed by the aviation community. Hearing the proper sound of the Gatling gun is just much crispier and overall “cooler” when compared to the stock gun sounds used in the movie.
It just brought a whole new level of realism to this already spectacular scene. Check it out below!
