Crash In Naples, Florida
This dash cam footage captured the moment a private jet crash landed on a highway in Naples, Florida. The plane, a Bombardier Challenger 600, can be seen instantly bursting into flames as cars brake to avoid a collision.

Five people were on board the private jet when it crashed near a highway exit, creating a field of debris that forced officials to close the interstate. Two people died as a result of the crash – pilot Edward Murphy and second-in-command Frederick Hofmann. Meanwhile, the occupants of two automobiles damaged in the crash survived, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Before the crash, the pilot had already radioed ATC that they lost both engines. They were cleared to land on a runway, but losing both engines meant that wasn’t viable. The airport lost touch with the plane just before it crashed around 3:10 PM.
This would mark the seventh fatal crash of Bombardier private jets since 2000.
