There’s a reason why the Vought F4U Corsair is also known as “The Whistling Death”. During World War II, it was well-loved by its pilots and it earned the respect and admiration of its enemies. Nobody wanted to be on the receiving end of this classic warbird. Its legendary status is clearly well-deserved.

But while we’re always in awe of this iconic aircraft, we’d also like to shine the spotlight on the pilot who did a mighty fine job with this low level flyby. It seriously takes a lot to pull off something like that. What a lucky crowd!
